Case and Citation number?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Hello. I am currently in the process of writing a TBWD (trial by written declaration) for failing to obey crossing guard.
Apparently I need to write my Citation number and my Case number on this TBWD. I looked this up online where to find it but I read that citation number = case number. Is that true?

Whether or not it is, can someone please tell me where I can find my citation + case number on my ticket?

Case number is the same as ticket number.
