No his employer is sending the money. they combine all the money and send it all to the cse then they disburse it. we've went through this. yeah he's require by law to inform them of the change but he's not going to. and if they want to find him at his new employer they can. i just figured as long as he pays support on time no one would even care. aren't they too busy tracking down "dead beats" instead of those who are paying regardless of the method?

No your husband can not go against a court order. If the order says his payment are to be garnished...that is what it is. Your husband can not change the order at his whim:rolleyes:

Why not just do what needs to be done to fix the error instead of changing jobs. Unless of course he is on his way to being a deadbeat parent himeself.....
After all most dead beats have a habit of quitting jobs, changing jobs and even working under te table. They like to claim that they want to pay on thier own instead of the wages garnished....yet appearently the judge saw that garnisment was needed for one reason or another.

He could send the payments directly to CSE however he could mess himself up doing so....The court order is there for a reason. This way NCP can not claim they sent money not sent, and the CP can not claim they did not recieve payment sent.:)

If it is court ordered to be garnished from his pay, all CSE needs is his social security number. they will find him at his new job.
CSE will contact the employeer and notifiy the employer to remove the garnished ammount from your husbands check. (note that if the employeer does not do this he can be fined)
It will take about 6-7 months. (give or take) .for CSE to locate your hubby at his new job, once he provides his ss number it is just a matter of time.
They will again garnish his wages requardless if he sends them a check or not. (after all it is a court order) Then he would most likely be making double payments.

In order to change the order your husband would have to go to courtand request the garnishment be stopped. .

What is he going to do quit his job everytime CSE locates him? That's real responsible.
