chapter 7 and income tax return

What is the name of your state? New Jersey

I filed my 2004 income tax return on February 2, 2005 and am expecting a refund. I am planning to file chapter 7 in the next week or two. Will it affect my refund? Can my refund be taken away?

It depends on how much it is...If you use it before you file make sure to use it on only nessecities and keep all your receipts
