What is the name of your state? OR
Have to redo my Ch 13 filing to including two cars I have decided to give back to bank.
As I go through this I was wondering if it is common to include something for charity?
We did not budget any last year and I feel bad not being able to support my church, school or community.
Is it common to put something down for charity?

Most BK trustees feel that if you have any disposable income that could be used for charitible purposes, you don't need to file bankruptcy or it should go towards your bills.

i am sorry racer, but that just doesn't make sense

if i owe $80k in debt and my wife looses her job, what difference is $50-$100 a month going to make on whether or not I file Bankruptcy?
I could see it making a difference in the amount I pay on my plan, but not whether or not I file.
But I do see you point.
