What is the name of your state?VA
Ok a few years back my niece (I think she was 3) told my sister(kids mom) that my mom (kids grandmother) touched her inappropriately. Well the kid didn'T knw it was inappropriate but thought it was a game and asked my sister if she wanted to play this secret game she had learned, which at that point my sister called the cops and child protective services. The kid went into therapy and the therapist concluded that is was real and she wasn'T making it up. But my mom never got in trouble for this, she always insisted she never did it. I live rather far from my family, so I don'T know many more details, but what generally happens in cases like this? It has been nearly 3 years since this happened and nothing, how long does this process usually take? Because I come from a large family and at that time of the incident I had 3 other 3 yr.old nieces and when 1 was asked she said that sometimes my mom would make her cry and cover her mouth. My other niece who was just barely 3 could hardly speak, so they did only medical exams and it showed stuff had been inside her, her sister (who was 4.5) became very defensive and said she(my mom) would never hurt anyone but had picked up the strange behavior of sticking crayons in odd places, (that sister at that time deied every possibility of it and said she wouldn'T put her kids through that anymore, the medical exams and questioning, they were still babaysat by my mom) My last 3 year old niece also couldn'T talk that well but demonstrated odd behaiors. But other nieces and nephews I have also said they had problems, but were also too afraid to tell until the one niece told on her, because, my mom said she would hurt them really bad and do diferent things to them. I called the Cps to check on the case and also to tell them my story, that I hadn'T talked to my mom in years, because as a kid she abused me and to keep me updated if I need to go to court or anything. And I have heard nothing, does anyone know why not? And also I feel that this was enough evidence to convict my mother, but nothing. Does anyone know why a case like this with over 10 kids testifying and stuff why nothing ever happened to my mom?

This has nothing to do with the content of your post, but I'm just very curious why all the T's in your posts are capitalized when they follow an apostrophe. What's the story?

It has everything to do with the content of her post unless you are saying that the actual letters that make words that make sentences that create threads that say something to you, don't count. But who assigned you the task of correcting threads?

This is actually a person who is in the midst of a huge crisis and I don't think your immature, irrelevant post makes any sense whatsoever unless you are looking to get a prize for having a stellar eye for proofreading. Go proofread your previous posts, you've got all the makings of a multiple personality condition. Like maybe selective advice for the viewers response syndrome.

You're the one in the back of a funeral hall, cracking up, aren't you?

I wasn't trying to make fun of her, I was GENUINELY CURIOUS.
Additionally, I *am* a proofreader. That *is* my job, so maybe that's why it caught my eye.
Sheesh.

Child molestation cases are very difficult to prosecute. Statements are fine - and expert testimony by psychologists and counselors can only go so far. But, if there are alternative theories and no corroboration, they are almost impossible to bring to court.

The best you can probably do is make sure that any and all children stay away from the woman who may have done this.

i would never try to hold such an esteemed position at this site, merely giving my opinion in a way that would best describe my disdain for the imbecilic post.

i don't think that given the nature of the thread, it was just her natural curiosity, to inquire of the reason for her T's to be capitalized following the punctuation. i have read many post's, ofcourse not in the least bit close to the amount you have, and i think that spelling, grammar and punctuation error's are abundant. has there not been other less serious inquiry's that she might practice her trade on? perhaps it is such that we all lay our written communication skills on the line to be dissected and I should see the esteemed poster as a humble servant to all who come and need legal help with their uncrossed "T."

i don't feel that my two cents can really be that valuable when put into an empty pot. therefore, i can see your point. i thought the gal deserved some sincerity and my feeling is that liizzy was trying to be cute. sometimes something strikes me as just too inappropriate and i say what's on my mind.

and if you like i could go on and on and on and on but i won't.

Honestly who gives a flying crap how she writes. Maybe she has a certain stlye. She has a serious issue that did not need to be mocked.

Now to the writer, Carl is 100% right. However I cannot believe that knowing she did this to you and possibly your sisters they let their kids go there. More important knowing their is a history she has not been hauled in for questioning. BUT if your sister still takes the kids there the court sees that if the kids still go then its kids and stories.

What an aweful situation, I hope things get resolved for you and those kids are allright.

Ok thanks for the helpful 2 posts that actually had to do with the question. But to settle curiosities the t is capitalized because I am not typing on a normal keyboard. The ' is with shift unlike the "American" style keyboards, which by the way often times I get other characters wrong too, my y and z for example are in exact opposite spots. So if you have a problem with my accidental typos, please send me money to buy a new one or you can send me a new keyboard! :) At least my post was somewhat legible as opposed to some that don'T know how to spell!! r u goin 2 ass mo kweschens? lol!!
