child has some behavioral issues ************** can this affect custody?

thank you for your responses. it is O.D.D that he was recently diagnosed with. yes we are in the process of getting a second opinion.

i understand that it comes across as though we are looking for someone to blame. i apologize that was not my intentions. as i said before we just really wanted to find a way to make mom step up to the parent plate and for once in her life do her job. yes i do understand you can not force anyone to be a parent if they don't want to.

we only want what is best for this child. we will continue to look out for his well being and get him the hep he needs. we are enrolled in parenting classes specialized in raising kids with behavioral problems and other issues. they start in a week. we also have family counseling starting next week as well. this is something the therapist thought would be very beneficial to him. so again thank you for your responses.

Please take the results of the school LD assessment to either a child/adolescent psychiatrist or a child psychologist for further evaluation. Family or individual therapy will help but is still different that the assessment i am suggeting unless that therapist happens to be one of the afore mentioned specialists.
