What is the name of your state? nevada, my son has moved out but hasn't taken everything with him, he has stuff left in his bed room and stuff left in his hobby room. i want to move what he has left in the hobby room in to his bedroom, so i can paint the hobby room and move my younger son in to the room, because he is sleeping in the garage, because, my other son was taking up two room and would not give one up. can i legally pack my sons stuff up and move it, with out him having me put in jail. i rent this house its in my name, my son has moved into his own apartment, he is just being mean about the rooms, he never uses either one of them, but won't completely clean either one out. he threatens to have be arrested it i touch his stuff. what are my rights. oh he has never paid a days rent, and is 21 years old.

I would think that if your name is on the lease, you can pack his things and put them in a safe place for when he comes to pick them up. Don't destroy anything or put it in the street, just store it safely.
