OK then...so I guess I was ignorant on the meaning of ignorance. But for her to use the word "stupid" was uncalled for and not necessary, and I( believe it was used TOWARDS me. Using those kinds of words really makes someone that's already in a tough spot feel much worse. And it's completely unprofessional. As I said...I'm just going to wait it out, and see what happens. Then you better find the local rules. Go to a local law library.

And yes, OG, he can get in trouble. I have been writing in this post for a couple weeks now. Since then, I have called the courthouse (before the whole serving thing got brought up). And his failure to appear can result in a warrent. I'd say that's getting in trouble....

A warrant will only hold IF he has been PROPERLY served.

Well you know what -- you have a responsibility to track him down if you want to sue him. You wouldn't have this problem if you had properly served him BEFORE he moved. He can also be served at work if you can track that down.
