What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mass

Mass used to have Medical Security Program and MSP is no longer be available as of December 31, 2013. The COBRA payment is about the same as UI benefit, so will get nothing after paying the COBRA.

Does anyone know if there is any option? Any new program to help pay the medical insurance?

Thanks!

What about it?

That will help if you buy a policy from the exchange (assuming you otherwise qualify). It won't pay towards your COBRA.

I mean not take COBRA and buy other medical insurance and get help from the state. For a family 4, the UI benefit only can get about $600/week.

Then you can certainly go to the Commonwealth Connector or the Federal Health Exchange and see if you qualify for assistance. That's not something we can tell you. You can also apply for coverage with Mass Health.
