What is the name of your state?
Texas
My fiancee and I are looking to purchase a home. We have lived in texas for over 6 months so I know we are considered married by common law. His credit is much better than mine, so we want to put the loan in his name and the title in both our names. Is that possible?

**A: yes, if the lender allows it.
