are common law marriages recognized in New Jersey? if so, how long does the couple have to live together before they are considered common law?

Thanx IAAL, no offence. Guess I should have looked at your profile first. How do you even have time to answer all these questions? I work in a law office up here in Canada (just a secretary). Anyway thanx for that other website as well!

My response:

This is one of those little "perks" of being the owner and managing partner of my 3-Partner lawfirm, with a staff of paralegals and secretaries that could "choke a horse".

My minions do most (90% or more) of the work. After nearly 22 years, I'm entitled, damn it !
