Here's my problem with moving off-post....I have NO money...he is refusing to help me AT ALL!! Can he do that? I've only held small part-time jobs and all my money from those went right into our shared account. Until June, he will be living with the kids and I'll have them on weekends....this way they can finish out the school year in the same school. If we file for a legal separation, is it possible to ask for 4-5 hundred dollars a month until I can financially get my feet on the ground? Or am I just expecting too much?

Ask for whatever you want to ask for. Whats the worst that can happen? They tell you "no"
