oh, maybe i should have mentioned that this is our 2nd trip to see this same atty. we also went for one visit 3 years ago, so he has already spent some time interpreting my deceased dad's will and is otherwise familiar with our case. he has mom's income and asset data from then and now, for what that's worth. is that worth much?

I don't know the legal fees in your area, but if he's done as much work as you say and y'all like him, then pay the dough and have him do it.

do you have any idea what percentage of medicaid applications submitted directly by client/client's family are denied the first try vs those apps submitted by an attorney (elder law or other)?
