I had a contract with my agent to sell my home. The signed contract expired on 1/13. I told him by email that I would extend to 2/13 but we never did an updated signed contract. Is my contract with this agent still valid because of the email? If I could sell my home on my own at this point, would I owe the agent any commision because of the email?

Thanks for any help.

**A: we have no idea since we do not know what type of contract you signed for example (exclusive right to sell, exclusive agency etc.), and the terms and conditions therein.
