And does it really take almost a year for the dealership to sell a car that was given back ?

Since her mother in law was driving the car for at least part of the time, I really doubt that the dealership had it for a year. On top of that, when a car is repo'ed it normally goes to auction. Its not normally sold through a dealership.

She told me that it already got sold and already gave her the amount $6800, she told me that it got repossessed because she couldnt catch up of my debt that I made when i had the car which I paid evrything consider the late fees before I even gave it back to her. She told me that she"s going to the court tomorrow and dont know when's the hearing yet

I dont really know what case she have on me but I just want to make sure if Im not responsible of what's happening to her right now I mean sure she got me a car I was irresponsible and didnt take it seriously but I dont blame her for getting the car but she decides to take it from me this happened 2 years ago I learned my lesson and when she took the car I got a car for a year now that ive been on track with my payments
