i was the cosigner for a loan on the purchase of a big truck in my brothers company. he did not repay the loan and now they are trying to take my house and land. It in the state of washington. What can I do?

My response:

Pay the money or file Bankruptcy. Oh, and say, "Thanks a whole hell of a lot, bro."

Well, at least you won't be co-signing for anyone ever again - - because your credit is ruined.

your credit = destroyed beyond repair

gonna take years for it resume back to normal, if it ever does.. sorry.. maybe move in with your brother if they take your house?
