What is the name of your state? Tn

Most of you are somewhat familiar with my situation. So I wont bother to go into the whole past history. Before I get to my questions, I will just say I am FINALLY receiving CS, and have been since our last court date in Sept. My ex chooses not to see the children, except for the one time they called him, and once when we ran into him. He has yet to call and ask to get them. Which is fine with me either way.
On to my questions.
I found out at court I have a $766 IRS interception holding. CSE received in on MArch 8. Technically they can hold it for 6 months. I kept checking and saw that on the 6 month mark(Sept-the week after court) it had been released, but I never received it. I called and was given a runaround about why. One person tried to tell me I already received it back in Apr. I did receive A check in April, but that one was separate from this one. Finally I was able to find out that apparently the IRS did an audit, and (now this is how it was put to my understanding) randomly picked several cases to look into. Mine was one of them. I was told by the lady I spoke to that this made it a "no cash check" or something to that effect, and that she would resend it on to the physical dept. That was done the 2nd or 3rd week of Sept. I STILL have not received this check. When I called the DA's office, they are showing I have received it. I was told by the asst. DA she would call the main guy at CSE(Not sure what his title is) I keep calling her once every 2 weeks, and she will just say "Oh I haven't heard from him, I will call him again, and if you hear from me, it is because I have heard from him." The last status I was given at CSE is they were looking into it. I suppose my question is has anyone else ever gone through this? ANd how can I get them to send me this money. Any suggestions? Hounding them doesnt seem to work. Thanks in advance.

nice to see you!:)

My suggestion would be, ask the DA who they say they are calling at CSE and waiting to hear back from. Get the name and call that person yourself.

I do have a question though, I know tigger on here and many others can't find out even if a check was cut from the IRS or intercepted maybe you could fill us all in on how you found out!:)

Hey, Ryry and Tigger!!! Hope you guys are well!!

I think I will look into that. I know the guys name. I spoke once again to the asst. DA today, and also to the office up in Nashville.
The asst. DA told me she has emailed him again, and read me the email, which basically says" Have you had a chance to look over this case, the CP is very upset that noone will or can tell her anything. If there is someone else I need to speak to, please let me know"
She also told me that she knows he has been reading them, that they can see if they have been read or not. From what I have been told, all you can do is leave messages on his voicemail.

How I found out about the checks.....(there is another check I know of holding)
Our state has an online website(I am sure most of them do)
When I sign into my case, I am brought to the payments sent screen. I click on his name and go to complete history. I can see everything they have intercepted from him, and whether it has been credited to his account. The check in particular I am trying to get is showing credited to him, however the other check I know is there, was received in July, and has not been credited yet. The amounts don't say if they are IRS, they show up as "Other" where as regular cs shows up as "Emp".
They wont tell me it is IRS, but common sense tells me it can be nothing else. And another thing, they (CSE) won't tell me about any checks holding unless I ask about a specific amount. They will not volunteer the information. I was told they can't.
I just found out in Sept. that I can see anything they have ever received from him, whether I got it or not. Which has come in handy. I just found out about the $700 check 3 days before it credited. So it had been sitting there for 6 months and I never even knew it was there. I found out it was there while at court, when I was talking to the DA and she had my records and told me it was there. Anyway, hope that helps, I'd better go get my kids out of the bath and put them to bed.
Thanks so much for your help.
