georgia; i was divorced 2 1/2 years ago. during the divorce the court appointed a gaurdian ad litem...i had many reservations about the appointee and his ability to work in the best interest of my children. when all was said and done, i do not feel that he did work in the best interest of my kids and i also feel that he over-charged us for his services. i have paid a great portion of his fees and i am now wondering what the statute of limitations is on appealing a lawyer's payment that was ordered by the courts? also, if an appeal in feasable, how does one go about getting that ball rolling.

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

Your time for an appeal ended long ago. If you didn't like the order, you had 30 days within which to file a Notice of Appeal, and to actually file your Appellate Brief.

Because of that, the decision stands.
