I still dont think you all quite understand what I'm trying to accomplish, I AM NOT TRYING TO KEEP THEM FROM MOVING. I am trying to preserve my rights and my visitation if the move does in fact take place.

I can not afford to travel to Indiana for visitations on a consistent basis, so CP will have to accomodate or else the relationship between myself and my daughter could be severed (I believe that was one of the factors listed in Cjane's post for dispute).

So please...understand what I typed above and stop telling me that I can't keep them from moving...that's not the objective!

When she files the motion to move, which she will have to as it is also in the TN guidelines that she must, file a motion to modify the visitation agreement. In that motion address your concerns as far as time you will be able to spend with the child and the cost of transportation.

Thank you!! That was excellent advice!

Now, if she doesn't follow the proper procedure as to moving away this time you can file contempt of court for that and then address your concerns there. Making her return with the child wont likely happen, which you say you are not trying to do, but you will be able to state your case on visitation and cost.

However, you can't do anything until she either files the motion of intent to move or actually moves.
