You are more than welcome !!

Something CAN be done about them, IF people make the needed complaints to the FTC and the NY AG. The NY AG is definitely a go-getter against this type of thing, but people MUST file complaints to get any action going.

The sheer fact that there is NO court evidence, AT ALL that they have EVER sued anyone is extremely interesting in and of itself. They probably scare the wits out of most people and they pay. Its very sad that the large majority of their victims do NOT know that the tactices are against the law !

So, please GET all over them, file complaints with the FTC and the NYS AG, its the only way they will ever be stopped.

That is intersting that they never filed suit on anyone. They might have received payments. But also they know what they do is illegal and maybe by filing suits, they feel it would expose them for what they are. I do feel for those that probably did pay (with money they probably did not have) just because they were scared to death!

OH I am making complaints all right! I noticed that they are banned in two states already. So I figured I would also make complaints within my State as well, get them banned from as many states as possible!! :p

Please help! I posted the original message

State: South Carolina

Hi, If someone will read the original message in this post, it is mine. I received alot of feedback, but alot of it was 2 gentlemen bickering back and forth. I wanted to see if someone will reread my situation and please let me know what I should do. I have since sent the attorneys office a validation of debt letter that I sent certified. This way they will not say, "Well we didnt receive any request for a validation of debt". If you have any questions in regards to what I am talking about, Please REREAD The original post. I appreciate any and all ADVICE, and I realize it is all advice. Please help.
Thanks
Chad

First of all, these people harrassing you from Lenahan are NOT, NOT, NOT lawyers ! They are collectors, lying, foul-mouthed, collectors ! There is adequate information between the bickering in this thread to give you the answers you need. Lenahan has NEVER sued ANYONE, there isn't a single court record to be found.

You send the validation letter, now you wait. Once you get the green card back - hopefully you DID send the letter ceritified, RRR - and you know they have your validation letter, then any contact other than to inform you of what they're going to do, is ILLEGAL. They MUST cease ALL collection activity until they provide validation.

Go to Bud Hibb's site, contact him, he CAN help you with these scumbags.
