What is the name of your state? IL

I received my 341 meeting notice in the mail followed by a letter from my attorney on what to bring with me. Basically, drivers licenses, ssn# cards and a bank statement from the day we filed - but he said that date should be 30 days prior to the meeting date. When we signed the papers, I had like $60 in the account but on the date he's suggesting, I had like $850 but it was before my car payment and 1st of month bills were deducted and before I had to go grocery shopping so is that going to screw me? I am totally nervous about this now because we are on the line according to my atty between 7 & 13. I don't want the trustee thinking that I have all this extra money laying around.

Any advice? I heard that in the meeting, you're supposed to just shut your mouth and answer yes and no. I don't want to appear like I'm nervous for a reason but that isn't really an accurate picture of our finances!?!?!?!?! I already am stressed out beyond belief over this and haven't slept in weeks... now I am really sweating it.

The trustee wants to see your average daily balance, not the highest balance. They are aware the statements issued shortly after paydays will show a larger balance.

You can exempt up to $2K in wages.

The only problem with that is we're using that $2k exemption for our truck.... I guess I'm going to have to get on the phone to my bank to see if they can generate a statement for that date with an average daily balance, versus that particular date's balance because it sure isn't that high!
