What is the name of your state? Nevada

It's long time I'm looking for answears about it, so hope someone can help me.

I don't have a car, so I go around with a bike, and for this reason I need a bookbag to put inside what I buy, or even papers related to my job.

The problem is that many stores complains and force me to leave my bookback at the front of the store (even if it's empty), while I can see women going inside with huge purses and nobody say anything to them (and it's easier to steal with a purse than with a bookbag, because the purse just need to be open and you can put stuff inside, while with the bookbag you have to get it from your shoulders, open it, close it and put it back on your shoulders, so it's really ridiculous).

I want to know if they have the right to force me or if I can tell them I can legally enter the store with my bookbag and they can't stop me or force me out if I refuse to leave my bag at the front.

In my opinion it's agains the civil rights to force customers to leave their bag at the front, because they assume the customer is a criminal with bad intentions that wants to steal, and that's not right, in my case I have even a see-through bookbag, but the problem is that it's not fair, it's offensive for the customer to be treated like a thief without reason, and for that should also be against the civil rights.

I really hope someone can answear me a.s.a.p, because I really want to know if there is a law about it, and if there is where I can find it written so I can print it and bring it with me to show it when I need.

Thank You

Each and every store, restaurant or otherwise private business has the right to limit entry to whomever they wish as long as they are doing so under other than 'protected' status.

In fact, the governement and it's agencies also have that right and duty.

You have no case. So, either lose the bag, submit to the policies or don't go in the stores.
