What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Massachusetts , but son lives in Flordia.

I had contact with my son for a while but then the mother decides she doesnt think I should, so she changes the number, moves and now I can't even find where he is.So I receive child support papers through the courts but the courts wont tell me where he is or give me a number where to reach him.There is no standing court order for visitation and I dont know what the laws are for Flordia since I reside in Massachusetts.What court do I have to go through?How do I find out where my son is living?Do I have to pay child support even if she is refusing to allow me to see my child? Paying child support is my obligation and I want to do that but I also want to see my son.She doesnt see that what she is doing is not a benefit to my son, it is confusing for him not to know where I am or if I love him.Not to mention I have no idea what she is telling him as to why I havent called or even visited him.

you need to contact juvenile & domistic court in the state you live,tell them your situation and file for joint custody of your child.if you can afford a lawyer, great. If not this can be done without one. Good luck!
