What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? FLORIDA

I would like to find out how and where I can file a claim ,with the state?, against our HOA and It's President.

Reason being...He does not govern or police the By-laws.
The common areas are not kept, there are cars being stored in the parking lot(some may not live or rent here). He does not have listed or know what people or cars are supposed to be here.(we are having cars broken into)I could go on forever, but it all amount to he is not enforcing what is in Black and White and our community is paying the price.
I have, last month, sent a certified letter asking for copies of the records for this year. Florida statute states I have that right as an owner and needless to say his time frame given by the state has come and gone. It states that if he doe not comply in 10 business days he owes $50 a day up to 10 days.I could care less about the money I just want him to get off his hands and act like a President as well as a owner. I suggested to other on site owners (5) that we drop him as president, but most owners live out of state (19) and are hard to contact to vote him out.
He is running our developement like he owns the community and he only owns units in it, which he is renting...The Cash cow.

Where do I go to get someone to be HIS authority figure?

**A: the condo owners that make up the HOA are his authority figures.
Get as many owners together and remove him from office, following the proper procedure of course.

Ousting the President...

It is extremely hard to contact out of state owners, I had the same thought of ousting him, as stated, but getting slow feedback. I am still working on it. In the meantime, I have been told I can file a claim with the state to have him and his procedures looked at....That is where I need/want to go now. So again ...Does anyone know which office or department that would be here in Florida??? but Thanks for the thoughts Guru.
