What is the name of your state? Ohio

I received a notice today that I have to appear in court for a debtor's exam. I am not familiar with the Plaintiff at all. The Plaintiff's attorney is listed on the Affidavit. I'm not sure what to do. Should I just show up for the debtor's exam or should I call the attorney and find out what this is all about?

I have also recently reviewed my credit report and this company appears there as having a judgment against me. I'm just not sure what this is all about.

My response:

Do you recall having a debt that you failed to pay?

Do you recall being served with a Summons and Complaint?

Is this the first Notice of any type you've had concerning this matter?

Have you been to the courthouse to take a look at the court file concerning this matter?

You said, "I'm just not sure what this is all about." Well, do you have some idea? What might that be?

I don't recall having a debt that I failed to pay.
I have never been served with a Summons and Complaint.
This is the first notice that I've received.
I have not been to the court house to check into this matter. I just saw it on my credit report 2 weeks ago and I wasn't sure how to go about looking into it.
I really have no idea what this is about.
