What is the name of your state? Tn

I took out a second mortgage to get a Home Equity line or credit. I am listed as the borrower on the deed. My wife is listed as grantor. What is the definition of grantor. Does she have any property rights to this house? My name is on the title. I am worried that she has attempted to get access to this home should something go wrong with our marriage.

How do I get her name off the document? Can this be done by refinancing this line of credit?

Many thanks in advance--

:)

you sound nervous

Honestly,
If (she) really wants some of your house, it's hers.
I would look for a plan B to offer in lieu of the house (or half its equity.)
Even if she isn't on title, end it on a good note if possible.
Courts do crazy things when both parties are out for blood.

Good luck,
