State of NC..I was put on adm leave with pay after being questioned about 200,000 dollars missing from the company that I work for..I was not the bookkeeper, she was never questioned, I vol. took a polygraph test and passed. My employer paid me for 7 weeks, sent me COBRA papers, stating I was no longer with Co. I have never received any direct contact with Co. saying that I took no Money. nor any kind of apology. Information had to come from company, gossip is that I took the $$$ and now my reptation Has been irrepairable (I feel ) harmed and I feel I may not be able to find employment..Is this considered deflamation of Character ..Come to find out there was NO money missing from company but it was a bookkeeping error.

And what did your former employer say when you sent them a letter asking for a statement of your status and that you were cleared of any suspicions??? You did send them a letter Certified RRR asking them for it didn't you????
If not, do it.
