My boyfriend got in an accident while delivering for a local restaurant. Is the restaurant liable for any damages caused in the accident if the insurance is denying the claim?

No. Where did you get that idea? Unless the plaintiff can prove that the restaurant negligently entrusted the vehicle to your boyfriend, then no, it's all on your boyfriend.

Why is the insurance company denying the claim? What happened in the accident?
