 What is the name of your state? Californiaundefined

We obtained a second mortgage 4 months ago. The bank that was used has contacted us to sign some additional papers. It seems that they did not get us to sign the Deed of turst on the equity loan. (They were very unorganized>) I don't have a problem signing these papers, except that my husband can not take time off to do it. They sent me a letter stating that if we didn't sign and soon they'd issue a Demand for Payoff -- Can they do this - we have made very payment on time, we signed all the papers they gave us to sign. This was thier mistake and now they are threatening us. This is a National Bank, not some little fly by night organization. thank you. Please someone, anyone give me some ideas or advise.

Maybe you could just have a “mobile” Notary Public come to your house. I’ve done multiple loans this way.

**A: poor excuse. There are many offices and notaries that work nights and on weekends.
