How is my case taking 18 months? LOLOLOL because my ex has been in the middle of a job change which has taken his income from > 250k down to 100k, so he's been delaying things. What bites is that he may well have convinced the judge that this was an involuntary change. In the meantime, I'm nearly 20k in the hole for legal fees. Just for this.

I tell you if nothing else just when I think no one on the planet could act worse than the CP (in my fiances' case) I get on this forum and start to belive we are dealing with an angel. I'm sorry to hear that #1 it's taking so long and #2 that it is costing so much when if he gets the modification that is just more money being taken from your children. good luck. In some ways I guess I am still very nieve I thought a year was sooooo long.

No big deal. At this point, it'd be stupid to back off. Luckily, I have two of the most non-materialistic kids I know. They know that they have the one thing here that they'd never get at their Dad's - total and unconditional love. No matter where we are, people tell us that they've never met a family as tight as we are. And that's enough for us.

Iam glad to hear that you have been able to raise your children so well while going through this I worry everyday that my SD will be scarred. I hope we are as lucky as you in that way. Good luck to you and keep up the obviously amazing job you are already doing!
