So, you are suggesting that in Ohio, a child support order can be established when the "child" is 25 years old where no order existed previously?

I am asking you to back up what you posted. You stated that child support can't be retroactive in Ohio. Back it up.

Here's a snippet of a ruling by the Ohio Supreme Court.

(Dec. 30, 2004) The Supreme Court of Ohio ruled today that a juvenile court has jurisdiction to award retroactive child support payments to an adult emancipated child if a parentage action is filed prior to the child's 23rd birthday.
