I have a friend that was on her probationary period with an employer. She fell on the employer's property and hurt her back. Due to this, she had a short period (2 - 3 weeks) of Workers Comp time off and medical payments. She was released to go back to work. Her first day back to work, she was discharged by the employer for no specific reason. Is this legal? She really loved her job!

Thanks

She cannot be terminated BECAUSE she filed a workers comp claim, but she can be terminated for needing to be off work for several weeks when she had only worked there a couple of months.
