Yes but he has to go through the meps again the day before basic. Really this is his only chance here. I have also heard a roumor but I don't know if it is true. When I went through basic my TI told us that we had the option to back out within 24 hours of when you get on base. I am not sure if it is true but hey check it out anyway. In my opinion here are these two kids that have no college education, will probably get pregnant really soon if they are not already and they have no stable job. Just for the security of a steady income it might be smart to join if you are going to get married. That is unless you want to live in a trailer park with you cheap bleached out hair for the rest of your life. Hate the truth if you want I don't care.

They don't bleach their hair out on purpose, it happens when they use perioxide and ammonia to get rid of the head lice.

(After wiping the mountain dew off of computer screen) Yes I am honored. Really almost everybody that is on this forum is jusr here to bitch about what a dirtbag they are. And oh poor them because all they want to do is pussy out. Do I care if they don't like someone telling them the truth? NO! HEy you all freicken signed on the dotted line. The only ones posting on this forum should be asking if they took the right corse of actions. Not asking for advice on how to pussy out or get out of awols. Hey I never even thought about the hair and the bleech. No matter that will be the poster in like 6 years. First they will realize that they have no money and move in with mommie and daddie. Then after a kid or 2 mommie and daddie will kick them out which is when they will proceed to the trailer park. After about another 3 or 4 years. They will either be divorced with the mommie sitting at home and collecting a ton of child support while daddie joins the military to just keep up on the child support. Or there will be 6 or so people crammed into a 2 bedroom trailer eating ramen noodles because they are broke. Hey the poster can do what she wants. I am sure there is a way to get out. Good luck with it though, your BF joined for infantry. They need infantry. They won't let him go without a fight.

Even if he has signed everything and has to go just tell him to fail every pt test horribly or go AWOL. If you have less than 180 days being active duty there is VERY little they can and more than likely will do to him.

If he goes awoll wait a couple months and call the army deserter hotline to make sure he has been dropped from the rolls, then turn him into the guards at the ft sill main gate. He will be out in 1-2 weeks.

The military will let him go. because he isnt in the military yet. and why would they want to force someone that from day one doesnt want to be their, the recruiters will lie cheat and streal. they are sales men. thats their job.

if they want to force the issue too much, just tell them that you have decided to take up smoking pot, and you hope that wont be a problem when you haver to take the UA before you ship.

you just have to figure out what rules they are playing by, and play by the same rules....
