What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky
I visited a local dealership due to the Owner not returning neither of my 3 messages left for him regarding a service issue. I was shown where he was located and I heard him speaking to 3-4 individuals about my issue in an inappropriate manner. When I realized that Mr. X was speaking of me, I let my presence be known. I was appalled by this conversation and informed him of my presence. He had a look of shock on his face and then began to speak in a loud tone when he realized that I was Ms. X. I informed him of the inappropriate conversation and that he had not even attempted to contact me back. He stated "because I didn't want to have to deal with this" and stated that he believed his service manager about the scratch being old. When I questioned him about not even seeing the scratch, he reported that he didn't need to because he had known the service manager for 30 years. As I continued to address my issue, he got up from his seat, walked toward me with his hands up yelling "get your big butt out of here". I at this time felt threatened by his demeanor and body language and began walking towards the door; he continued yelling obscenities at me in front of his employees as I walked out the door. I could not believe that a business owner could act in this manner with a customer. What can be done???

If you believe that the dealership damaged your car (I assume that is what you meant by "the scratch") then your only recourse at this point would be to sue the dealership.

Take your business elsewhere, like most reasonable people would do. Not *everything* is lawsuit-worthy. Really.

Don't comment on any of my post, I see that you have a history of being rude and showing your ignorance on here. What we post is serious and NOT to be made a mockery of. Thanks

Sorry - but you don't get to dictate who replies to you.

So - HOW were you discriminated against? And really - telling you to take your business elsewhere is NOT mockery - it's reality. Having someone tell you to remove your excessively large posterior is NOT discriminatory.

She gave you sound advice as did the others. I will give you more. After you lose your small claims case, go buy touch up paint. Using a fine detail brush, touch up the scratch. Put the paint and cleaned brush on a shelf in your home, for the next scratch.
