please tell me what to do.Iwant to divorce my perm.res husband before the 2 year waiting period.What will happen then?

Have you attended the interview for Adjusting his status ?. Best thing to do is to divorce him and write to the INS stating his alien number and that your marriage is now over. When he comes to renew his card, or remove the conditional status, he may be refused and asked to leave.

we have been to the ins office once and spoke with someone there who was an officer,but im pretty positve it wasnt the big interview because they didnt ask any personal questions at all.This situation is heartbreaking for me,because im so confused weather he did or didnt marry me for his papers,but all the signs are there,even though he treats me great,our personal life isnt normal.im so upset ive been going to a therapist for 2 yrs of our 3 yr marriage.How would i know for sure,i cant think of any way to find out other than to find out if hes got a wife at home.How could i do that?

If you were not asked any questions then I doubt it was the big Adjustment of Status interview. Check what his work permit is, it he has a temp 1 year Employment Authorisation Document then you have not had the interview. When did you marry ? and what visa did he enter on ?

As regards to whether he is married at home I can not help you.. but if you are not happy then divorce him.. if you are unable to put all suspecision behind you, then you have no future..
