What is the name of your state? Texas

My X moved out of state in 2002, we went to Mediation and made modifications on our original divorce decree for visitation and child support, after several months we finally made it to court and the Judge ruled on all the changes with no problem. My lawyer made up a court order and sent it to me for my approval, I reviewed it and corrected a few minor things. I faxed it back, and from January of 2003 until now I cannot get my Lawyer to file the order (I think I'm not a priority because he is a friend of the family and gave me a so called family rate) .So, my child support is still $200.00 more a month than it is suppose to be, and the Atty.Gen has me in arrears for some ungodly amount (This was also taken care of at the court date).
I still have a copy of the uncorrected order, can I make the changes myself and get it to the judge and get all this corrected?HELP.........

Why is your attorney sitting on this? Do you owe her/him money?

I dont owe my lawyer anything, and when ever I can get a hold of him, his reply is " I thought we took care of everything, let me check it out and get back to you". But he never does and when I call back, the viscious cycle starts again. I dont have the time or the money to take off from work to make an appt with him and pay him for something he should already be doing. The fact is he started off all this at a special family rate, because My ex took my children without any warning and I needed someone right then. He is my brother-in-Law's brother. So the fact is I am not as important as his full paying clients ( I do understand this though). So I ask again can I get this court order going myself ? I have all the info, I just need to know who needs to sign it and how I get to them. Please dont quote my old addages, I really need help.

You say you owe an "ungodly" ammount of arears. How much? Have you been making payments at all? You can file yourself but your lawyer will have to go down to the courthouse and withdrawl as your lawyer first.
