If a dentist makes an offer to forgive one half the contract price, and you counter-offer wanting in addition, one fourth of the money you already paid, refunded. Can he then withdraw his offer? It was in writing in a letter.
This is California.

is the offer enough?

Should I respond to his offer, and request that he send some sort of release form? Or is the letter enough and I don't need to respond?

Thank you.

offer not enough

Junior member - sorry, I didn't see your question before. No, it isn't enough, but I'm afraid if I ask for $4,000 more, he will get mad and withdraw his offer. And I'm not sure if then I could say "okay, I'll take it." What would you do?
