Dont have a probation officer...Cant get in contact w/ one...HELP!!!

What is the name of your state? New Jersey
My boyfriend has been trying desperatly to get a hold of his probation officer for a year now. He calls and writes and leaves messages and no one answers him. The courts keep sending him papers saying that he needs to go back to court bc his community service probation wasnt done. BUT HE CANT GET IN CONTACT WITH THEM!! And they havent assigned him a probation officer!! Everytime he goes back to court he asks them who his probabtion officer is and they tell him thats not their problem thats his job. Help what is he supposed to do? He cant get this off his record and it is screwing him up desperatly. All he wants to do is set his life straight but this is holding him back!

Here's an idea - go to the Probation Department and ask to speak to someone in person ... perhaps a supervisor.

Have they actually assigned him community service? If so, he should just do it, jkeep a record of it, and then move on.

Go down to the Probation Dept.
Expect to be there most of the day, straightening this out (sit & wait like many others). And, it may take more than one visit

Probation Officers don't have secretaries.
Yoyo should be able to sign up for community service & get it resolved.
Otherwise, he's probably looking at jail time.
