What is the name of your state? Chicago, IL

Today I parked on a meter, put an hours worth of quarters in, but did not notice the rush-hour no-parking sign. So I got a ticket at 4:15 for being in violation. So what, fine. But, I am mad as hell that I got another one for the same violation at 4:28! Can I contest this or can Chicago give me as many tickets as they want in any time frame?

I wish this city would find another way to dig out of debt than issue so many BS tickets. I've had plenty...being a half-inch in the bus zone yellow paint was the winner up until today.

I would say you're lucky you only got two as you were parked illegally. You probably pissed off a lot of commuters that were trying to use that extra lane you were parked in.
