What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? va
i realize that the eduction expenses deduction hasn't been renewed yet, but i was going through turbotax online to estimate my tax refund and it asked me about my tuition expenses so i wanted to ask a question about that (assuming that i'll be able to take the tuition expense deduction). i've already completed 4 years of college and recieved a bachelor's degree, but i'm now going back to school to study something completely different in order to change careers. i'm in the process of obtaining an associates degree for something completely different. when asked if i've already "completed the first four years of college as of January 1, 2012" should i put down yes? i ask because it conflicts with the fact that i'm not a graduate student when filling in the required information.
thanks.
