My two kids have their own email address that I use to send them messages. I've come to discover that my ex's husband has been filtering he emails that I send to my kids. He even reads them and responds back to me without letting the kids see them. How do I know? He says so in the response.
My question. These are personal emails from me to my children that concern our parent child relationship sent to their personal email address. Is it legal for him to do this?

I doubt that it's ILlegal, but certainly not the place of stepdad to be doing so. I do think a responsible parent does keep an eye on kids' email accounts and does an occasional check of who/what is in there. I do with mine, although I stay away from reading their father's emails to them (and vice-versa).

The first thing I'd do is speak with your ex about it. And..... IS there anything in your emails that could be deemed inappropriate?
