I have a 17 y/o stepdaughter who is in a relationship with a 27 y/o female with serious mental problems. We have tried to end the relationship for fear of danger to our daughter. My wife is 2 1/2 hrs. away in college on a scholarship and our daughter is trying to end wife's school. We have filed for a RO but my wife cannot deal with this and study. My question is can we remove our daughter from our house as she said she is leaving on her 18th birthday anyway but she is going to make our lives hell until then?

These are problems that one may face when having children. Deal with it. She is 17, you are the parent. DON'T LET HER LEAVE to see the 27 y/o.

Where is the child's father? Why does Mom feel that being 2 1/2 hours away is more important than parenting her child? Does it really surprise either of you that the kid is acting out? Mom's effectively taken off and left her with a stranger (in the kid's eyes). Why shouldn't she choose the stranger, then?

Well first of all, why would you want to remove her? Just because she is a teenager? I mean, your sitting here posting on the forum, that YOU want to remove her. Have you ever thought that maybe she cant stand you? Have you ever thought that perhaps that because YOU dont want her around that perhaps she is trying to make your life hell. Have you ever thought that maybe she is with this 27 year old because of you? It seems she is trying to get her moms attention because she wants her mom around and not you. I mean, your sitting here wanting advise on how to get rid of her. H$ll, id try to make your life h$ll too. You contradicted yourself by saying"We fear for our daughter because of danger" but then you said" how can we get rid of her?" You neanderthall!!! Maybe perhaps you need to get rid of yourself!! Thats the way I see it!!!
