No. The adoptive father was a victim of hurricane katrina, and the adoptive mother is abusing the child.
The mother kicked the child out of the house.
The child went to a neighbor's house and called her brother.
He and his wife immediately picked up the child.
Two days later the mother called the police and reported the child as a runaway.
Later that evening the mother showed up with a police officer and took the child back.
The next evening the neighbor called the brother and told him he needed to come pick up the child because the mother had beat and kicked her and told her that she didn't want her, just her check.
The brother immediately went to the neighbor's house to get the child and called the police.
No officer came after hours of waiting.
The brother and his wife took the child and hid her here in my home.

No. I'm sure they will become experts very shortly, but right now they are clueless. They are afraid the police will give her back again.

They are going to take her to the hospital because the staff will take the appropriate actions.

The mother is addicted to pain medication and is desperate for the money that comes from the disability the child receives.
