This is neither an appropriate/responsible use of a firearm, nor is it even a TINY bit funny. You are clearly not mentally stable enough or responsible enough to own a gun.

Making a firearm joke, is exactly what it was, a joke. If you have ever been in one on one situations with weapons brandished, talked down the person who was out of control, before needing to use yours against them and made the situation go away, you have the stability to carry. I have done it more than once.

You are just a gross "man". The RESPECT is knowing how and WHEN to use it. And your "jokes" on this thread??? Not f...lipping funny.

Who peed in your Wheaties? I have never heard of a gun going after someone. By your logic, we should outlaw cars, trucks, motorcycles, silverware and anything else that has been used as a weapon. I suppose we should all be required to wear Kevlar dog handler suits with cushioned insides, lest we fall and get bruised. Before you go off on the member of your family killed by guns, one of mine literally had his head blown off with a shotgun.

No one here has said that guns should be illegal. Only that stupid people and those that think it would be funny to threaten a daughter's boyfriend with one should not be allowed to own one. And part of responsible gun ownership is knowing when to leave them home.

Not necessarily an intelligence test. But you need to pass a basic law and safety test to drive a car, same should be required to own a gun, in addition to background checks.

Don't forget to add procreate. On the other hand, if we took away the violence, car accidents and baby drama, this site would not thrive.:)

Bad analogy for two reasons. First, one does not need to pass any sort of test to merely own a car (or drive on private property). You need to pass the test if you wish to drive the car on public roads. Secondly, owning a car is not a right explicitly guaranteed in the Constitution.

There is no constitutional right to operate a motor vehicle. There IS one to own a firearm.

OHrad. I don't eat "Wheaties". And your comments are still gross. And stupid. How sad for you and your poor children.:(
