A female who has no interest in becoming a parent but finds themselvs faced with a pregnancy has OPTIONS available to them that the NCP does NOT

Surely, nw, you meant to say that the FATHER does not have thos options. 'Cause we all know that woman can also be NCPs.

Yes, I meant the father.

But the fact is that, due to biology, generally the parent in possession of the baby at birth (when the parents are not in a relationship, so to speak) is virtually always the female. It may come to pass that the NCP becomes the female, but there are many legal barriers to the male parent being imbued with the same rights to their child when born that the female parent does. The female DOES have more control than the male!

WE know if we have been on the pill, or not, we know if we should be ovulating shortly or just did and so should refrain from at-risk behaviors, we CAN say no, not tonight, if we don't want to risk a pregnancy. WE can also say, mister, you don't use a condom, it's not going to happen. And after we do all that to try to make sure we don't have an accidental pregnancy, if we still get pregnant, we continue to have options that our partner does not have any say in.

MY personal opinion is that NOT everybody who is capable of procreating is capable of being a proper parent, or at least a proper parent at that point in their lives.

I have no idea what made you say that, except the fact that a few of your friends are idiots, but that was an unfair statement. It doesn't make me mad, but it does hurt my feelings, whether it should or not. My husband for one, is a NCP and him and I have worked our guts out to fight for his daughter who lived in a terrible home until DFS took her away and placed her with us and the fight isn't over.

And men do have a choice when it comes to being a parent. Don't be sticking your dick in some chick you don't want to have a baby with. My husband's daughter was a result of a one night stand that he will have to live with for the rest of his life. We live through hell and worry everyday to keep up with keeping things straight and safe for his daughter, and she was a blessing in disguse. When we first found out about her, we contemplated many stupid options, but in the end, we did the right thing, even though it tears us up everyday, it was the right thing to do and we wouldn't change it for the world now.

Just please be considerate when you are about to make a blind statement. I wouldn't say just cause you are are "cali girl" you are a tanned slut.

And don't be spreading your legs for a man that you don't want to have a baby with.

I'm sorry, but women are just as responsible as men when it comes to taking precautions or abstaining from getting a piece of ass. Why is a lot of emphasis placed on the GUY and not the GIRL?? I've never understood the double standard with that one.

When a woman becomes pregnant, she has 3 choices. 1.) Abort 2.) Put the child up for adoption, or 3.) Keep the child. The father of that child has ONE choice.... whatever mom decided to do. That's it. If he wanted a child and the mother made the decision to abort it, he has no choice but accept it and deal with it. If she chooses to keep the child and he isn't ready to be a father yet, he still has no choice but to accept it, deal with it, and pay for it. Sorry, but that's the cold, hard truth.

And, just as a reminder, not ALL children are products of liquored up parents out for some wild sex for one night. I got pregnant with my last child while on birth control pills. Oh well. It's happens. I was married at the time, so I didn't HAVE to keep my legs closed, but I'm using it as an example. Condoms also break everyday. Women lie about being on birth control to get laid.

As a woman, I say that it's NOT the man's total responsibility when it comes to protection. It took TWO people to make that child, and the last time I looked, the WOMAN definately had to be there.

I am sorry, I didn't mean just men. I seen somewhere that someone said that men don't have a choice, like it's all the woman's fault and it pissed me off so I wrote that. HA HA

Men or Women: If you are not willing, ready, prepared, etc to raise a child or have a child with someone, DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH THEM!!!

I a pretty sure, just pulling straws here, but I think that is why you aren't supposed to have sex until you are married. I don't know, just some idea I heard somewhere. ;)

I have an off the wall question. Let's say you waited until you were married to. The couple ends up pregnant, but the wife doesn't want the baby and wants to abort. What rights does the husband have? Can he legally stop her? And what if the wife decides to abort without the knowledge of the father by lying to the clinic?

I dont even have a tan yet, and its already June!!! hehehehe
I do apologize for making that statement about NCP's. I should have stated in my case and close friends cases, the NCP is wrong. Not all NCP's are wrong, I will admit that. But, more than most, they are looked at as being the crappy parent, true or not.
