What is the name of your state? Florida

Lets do another example of what the other post on this topic says.

Lets say I come in at 9:52, i clock in, but my scheduled time is 10, but im actually WORKING for the company as soon as i come in. Grab a broom and sweep or whatever im supposed to be doing. Even if its walking around the building checking up on stuff. Now lets say i check the time sheets and every time i clocked in . even 5-10 minutes early, have been changed to the EXACT TIME the schedule says, now is that legal. I could see if someone comes in and sits down for 25 minutes.

Now lets say the supervisor said you could clock in early as long as you do something, but still changes your times, and has been doing it for a year, and every other supervisor in the building does the same thing, probably instructed by higher management. What steps should be done to resolve this issue, if it is in fact illegal?

Keep in mind this person is usually not in the building when you clock in/out.

If you are not being paid for all the time you are WORKING, you can file a complaint with the state DOL.
