My grand-aunt would like to name me as Guardian of her financial interests and to place her in a retirment community of her choice upon her coming of age in which she is unable to take care of her own business anymore. Her laywer told us that we need to setup a Guardianship. I would like to get all the facts on this and am specifically wondering what will be required (ex: durable power of attorney, etc.) and what will be required when it comes time?
