undefinedWhat is the name of your state?
Missouri,
I was married from July'87 to Aug'01. In Jan 2000 my ex-husband was injured very bad on the job site. He re-opened the case within three weeks following our divorce. I did some small investigational work and it seems he got 28,000.00. Being that I was his wife for fourteen years and this injury happened while we were married I would assume that a portion was and should of been awarded to me? Please Help!

Why is it that you want money from someone who you are not married to?

Was the workers comp mentioned in the judgment in your lawsuit?

Well I must add that I was the one who took care of all the "Legal" part of this lawsuit and medical visits. Might I add he tried to run over me and at the time his eight yr old son in July'00. Then in in Oct'00 the Man threatened my life, plead GUILTY, went to j-a-i-l, paid oh so dearly! Then might I add I filed for divorce, abuse in front of three children just cannot continue, I might hope you shall agree? Then as the fight continued over a home that children (ours) lived in for over ten years, our son at 12 called said "Daddy" please don't make us move, Daddy said F*** you! You MF. Then our son cutt his wrist 22 times 2 day's later, Also he said the same to his then 14 yr old Daughter, you know, he's the loser. Lost his children as now as four years has past, they don't call him, moved on, and I assume your right! Money should make him smile for his broken back. You can't mend his broken heart. In the end I shall say he lost. I really did win, I have those smiles everyday, huggz at night, real true love. The Man with the most sometimes just doesn't win! Thank you for the insight of Love=Love. Money=Greed. God Bless You! When I am finished writing this I am going to get up, kiss my children, not a dollar bill. :)

We can only respond to the facts you present.
Check with your divorce attorney, if this was income that he intentionally failed to pursue or report, your divorce attorney would have the best idea what you can do.

MISSOURI,

I don't want his moola, I want my children to get it. I take the cardboard box, as long as they don't and have done without (middle child) medically necessary braces, as he said bill me. My problem is he exact words "Money" is the most important thing to me! When your a parent, they come first!

You're either a liar or can't keep your story straight.

Being that I was his wife for fourteen years and this injury happened while we were married I would assume that a portion was and should of been awarded to me?

Remember that little statement in your first post?

What does the judgement in the lawsuit between you and your husband say about this asset?

You may possibly be entitled to some of it, but I would have to know what the judgment says.
