update and questions
The psychologist that my ex took our daughter to was not a forensic psychologist at least in terms of evaluating the parents and children concering custody. To date I have never been asked anything about anything. The ex parte hearing turned into a temporary custody order, with the kids living with my ex and reestablished my normal visitation but in his town of residence and no overnights. No supervision was court ordered and the judge verbally told us to reenter into mediation. Immediately after the hearing I was handed a parenting agreement that he and his wife drew up (wife is up for the bar).
There are some issues with this parenting agreement that I would like to have some imput on if possible. He is basically demanding that I have supervised visits for one year at someone elses place of residence and then after that year, the kids could come to my house. The main problem I have with this is that it looks like I will be transferred several hours from his proposed place that visitation is to take place. Nearly nine hours in fact. The driving distance for exchanges would be basically the same. (He lives in the middle). He keeps physical custody instead of the flip/flop in about 1 1/2 years. I retain eow visitation and every other holiday. I also retain summer with the kids but he wants more vacation days (2 weeks plus holidays) and allow the kids to go to overnight camps for up to 3 weeks. Basically, the kids get to visit with me for about 2 weeks total during the summer. He also wants it that on one of my weekends during a month that I would have to stay with the kids in his town. His reasoning is because of extracurricular activities. I'm not against the kids being involved in things but I honestly cannot afford the extra expense of extra gas, hotel rooms etc at least once per month right now and not sure that I could do it for another 12 years. He also wants some of my medical information to be released to him on a yearly basis (vision) and that I never take the kids around one particular person. The kids are 9 and 6 and curently live nearly four hours away. He has pretty much told me that if I don't agree to want he wants, then he will have jurisdiction changed and go to court. My attorney says to try to keep it in mediation. Any suggestions on comprimises??
