expecting refund on taxes

What is the name of your state? VA
I should get 2400 dollars back on taxes, need to file now, but BK not yet discharged, does it matter, is the trustee after my taxes? no one said a word at the creditor meeting , just noted I was expecting a refund.

It really depends. I've read posts from people where the trustees came after their refund and others who did not. Depends on how much room you have left under your exemptions.

Just to be safe, I waited until I got my discharge and then filed. Also, you may want to contact your attorney as he'll know what the standard procedure is in your district.
